DOB Enterprises collapses with 400 jobs lost across regional NSW

Tim Gumbleton and Mitchell Herrett of RSM Australia Partners were appointed liquidators of DOB Enterprises Pty Ltd on 7 October 2025. The Port Macquarie–based company operated across multiple industries, including recruitment, traffic management, and health services, through subsidiaries MBC Recruitment, Watchout Traffic Control, and Port Macquarie Labour Hire.

The group employed approximately 400 staff across the Port Macquarie, Newcastle, and Tamworth regions prior to the collapse. The liquidators said the company was placed into liquidation after a review of its financial position revealed insufficient cash flow to continue operations. They have commenced a sale process, inviting expressions of interest in acquiring all or part of the business by 13 October 2025.
