Former owner of more than 20 pubs across Sydney and Melbourne declares bankruptcy after owing $1.8 billion

Jon Adgemis, founder of the collapsed Public Hospitality Group, has declared bankruptcy owing more than $1.8 billion, saying he accepts full responsibility for his pub empire’s failure and will cooperate with the trustee to see the process through.
