Tattoo workshop operator Ink & Drink placed into liquidation
Members vote to wind up pop up business as liquidators probe position

Ink & Drink Administration Pty Ltd and Ink & Drink Pty Limited, the companies behind the experiential tattoo workshop business trading as Ink & Drink, have entered liquidation following a members’ resolution to wind up both entities.
Simon Cathro and Andrew Blundell of Cathro & Partners were appointed liquidators on 16 February 2026. The appointment followed resolutions passed by the companies’ members that they be wound up. The reasons for the winding up have not been disclosed. It is also unclear whether the liquidations extend beyond the two named entities to other members of any broader corporate group, or whether trading has ceased across all operations.
At the time of writing, Ink & Drink’s website and Instagram account remain active, and there has been no public statement addressing the liquidation or outlining next steps for customers, staff, or counterparties.
Ink & Drink operated a pop up concept in which participants were guided by professional tattoo artists through the basics of tattooing using tattoo machines and artificial skin, typically in a social setting that included the service of alcohol. The business was founded approximately two years ago by an experienced tattoo artist who sought to create an alternative format for sharing the craft after stepping back from full time tattooing due to injury.
Whether the winding up will result in a sale of intellectual property, branding assets, or event infrastructure remains to be seen. The continued operation of digital channels may indicate that a structured wind down or potential realisation strategy is under consideration, though no formal proposal has been announced.
Further updates are expected once the liquidators issue their initial statutory reports to creditors.
