Abra Mining - Voluntary Administration

Abra Mining, which owns and operates the Abra Base Metals Mine, a lead-silver project located in the Edmund Basin in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia, entered voluntary administration on 4 April.
The company reportedly made the decision after having unsuccessfully sought to recapitalise the business.
Richard Tucker and Robert Hutson of KordaMentha were appointed administrators, and said they intend to continue to operate the mine during the administration while they seek offers to recapitalise the company through a sale or DOCA process.
