AGAT Business - Liquidation

AGAT Business, a Queensland-based call centre which marketed itself as a superannuation consultant, entered liquidation on 27 November.

The company is the subject of numerous complaints to Super Consumers Australia by customers who allege they were cold called by AGAT sales representatives, some of whom recommended that customers move their super to the now collapsed Shield Master Fund (which we’ve previously covered here and here).

AGAT is currently under investigation by ASIC, but has denied any wrongdoing.

Nick Combis of Vincents was appointed liquidator.
