Alpha Building Group - Liquidation

Alpha Building Group, a Melbourne-based home builder, entered liquidation on 18 January.

Brent Morgan of Rodgers Reidy was appointed liquidator and said the company's collapse was caused by the rising costs of labour and materials, government taxes and a lack of profitability.

All staff have reportedly been sacked and ten projects left unfinished, with approximately $3.5 million owed to more than 100 creditors.
