ASIC annual insolvencies report reveals 11,000 business bust-ups in 2023-24

Australian business is slumping, evidenced by the more than 11,000 companies that have gone bust in the past year, with nearly every sector of the economy (mining being the only exception) registering a jump in insolvencies compared with 2022-23.
