Black Hops acquired by Tribe Breweries after voluntary administration, with jobs, taprooms and Gold Coast brewing preserved

Black Hops, the Gold Coast craft brewer that entered voluntary administration in July for the second time in two years, has been acquired by Tribe Breweries in a deal that preserves its brand, taprooms and Gold Coast brewing operations, with all Queensland jobs and 90% of positions nationally retained, following an unsuccessful private sale process and ongoing financial difficulties, with the new owner planning further investment in the business.
