Black Hops Brewing - Voluntary Administration

Black Hops Brewing, a popular Queensland brewery, entered voluntary administration on 28 March.

The company is one of Queensland’s largest breweries, employing approximately 70 staff and producing over one million litres of craft beer annually. It was founded in 2014 before opening its first Gold Coast taproom in 2016 and continuing to expand into 2020.

David Mansfield and Timothy Heenan of Deloitte were appointed as voluntary administrators and said that they are taking over management of the business, which is continuing to trade, and reviewing its financial position while they explore urgent sale options.
