Body Catalyst - Voluntary Administration

Body Catalyst, a non-surgical cosmetic chain with dozens of locations across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland, entered voluntary administration on 7 December. The company said the challenging economic landscape, including rising interest rates, decreased consumer spending and escalating operating costs, forced it to have to re-evaluate its business structure. Alan Walker and Glenn Livingstone of WLP Restructuring were appointed joint administrators of the over 40 entities comprising the group. They are continuing to operate the business while they assess the company’s financial position. They said their objective is to restructure the business to keep as many clinics open and save as many jobs as possible. The first meeting of creditors is scheduled for 19 December.
