BourkeHood - Voluntary Administration

BourkeHood, a Sydney-based R&D tax advisory firm with offices in Australia, New Zealand, United States and the United Kingdom, entered voluntary administration on 3 August. Launched in 2020, the company claimed 7-figure revenues in its first year. In 2022, it ranked 14th on AFR’s list of fastest growing start-ups in Australia. Company director Jason Hood attributed his company’s financial difficulties to cash flow challenges faced in its Australian operations. Rahul Goyal and Kate Conneely of KordaMentha were appointed joint administrators. The appointment was referred to them by CharterNet Rothsay, the company’s external accountant.
