BWX Group - Case Update

Kate Warwick, Kelly Trenfield and Joseph Hansell have provided an update on their administration of the companies comprising the BWX Group – a developer, manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of branded skincare and haircare products which entered administration on 3 April. David Hardy, James Dampney, Gayle Dickerson and James Stewart of KPMG were also appointed as receivers over 11 of 13 of the companies on 4 April, after the group reported an after-tax loss of $100.8 million for H1 FY23 and sought an immediate suspension of trading in its shares on the ASX in March. On 8 May, the administrators obtained an order extending the convening period for the second meeting to 13 November. Now, they have advised creditors that they have obtained a further extension to 13 May 2024, principally to allow the receivers the time to complete optimal sales processes.
