Camatic Seating - Voluntary Administration

Camatic Seating, a 60-year-old manufacturer and installer of seating for stadiums, cinemas and transit areas, entered voluntary administration on 4 April. Jason Stone and Glenn Franklin of PKF were appointed voluntary administrators. The company, which has worked on the Australian Open and some of the biggest football stadiums in the US, cited the Covid-19 lockdown period as the primary reason for its financial troubles. The majority of its operations have been put on hold, resulting in many of its approximately 77 employees being terminated or stood down. HSBC, owed $11.2 million, is the largest creditor, while unsecured claims total $14.9 million.
