Childcare collapse: $12.5m debt, ‘shadow’ director suspected

Andrew Blundell of Cathro & Partners, the administrator of regional Victorian childcare operator Believe Early Learning, has flagged potential insolvent trading, unfair preference payments, and the possible involvement of a “shadow” director as part of investigations into the group’s collapse with approximately $12.5 million in liabilities.
