Company involved in horrific fatal wedding bus crash collapses

Linq Buslines, the operator involved in the 2023 Hunter Valley wedding bus crash that killed 10 people and injured 25 others, has entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation alongside related companies Royle Pacific Investments and Double Investments, with creditors voting to wind up the businesses on 16 October following the loss of Linq’s operating accreditation in March, while an ASIC report disclosed estimated assets of just $265,000 against liabilities including $650,170 in court-imposed fines for breaches of heavy vehicle safety laws and an undetermined claim by the bride and groom, who have commenced legal proceedings against the company.
