Construction of nearly 40,000 homes across Australia in limbo

A long list of constructions businesses that have fallen into administration or collapsed entirely since the pandemic are contributing to a record lag in construction work on 4,000 homes where building approvals have already been obtained but construction has yet to commence, new research from KPMG shows.
