Cornell Automotive Group Pty Ltd et al - Voluntary Administration

Cornell Automotive Group Pty Ltd et al, a group of companies in the automotive sector, entered voluntary administration on 16 July, with Jonathan Henry and Shaun Fraser of McGrathNicol appointed voluntary administrators.

The 23 companies over which the administrators were appointed appear to be involved in the manufacture and distribution of diesel engine parts, including fuel injectors and pumps.

It’s not clear at this point what led to the administrators’ appointment, or how much the companies owe their creditors and employees. However, the administrators have indicated they are undertaking an urgent assessment of operations and intend to maintain services on a ‘business as usual’ basis while options are explored.
