Crackdown on misuse of FEG scheme – Government discusses reforms

Phil Quinlan and Amanda Coneyworth of KPMG reveal that the Federal Government is looking to reform the Fair Entitlements Guarantee (FEG) to curtail businesses and directors from using the scheme of last resort for their own unfair advantage after the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations released troubling statistics about the proportion of large FEG cases where employers used the scheme to avoid paying employee entitlements.
