Cue Clothing founder’s son emerges as potential rescue bidder

Justin Levis, son of Cue Clothing founder Rod Levis and a former executive director of the business, has emerged as a potential rescue bidder for the Australian fashion retailer, which entered voluntary administration in September owing approximately $55 million, including more than $29 million to former owner Hilco Capital, $6.2 million to Scentre Group and $1.4 million to the ATO, while Brand Collective, owned by billionaire Larry Kestelman, has also submitted an offer for the Cue and Veronika Maine brands, with receivers FTI Consulting continuing a sale process for the retailer, which remains trading across 47 stores after five closures.
