East Energy Resources Limited - Voluntary Administration

East Energy Resources Limited, a coal exploration and development company primarily focused in the Eromanga Basin in Queensland, entered voluntary administration on 12 October. The company was listed on the ASX until the voluntary suspension of its shares in September 2020 and eventual delisting in September 2022. Together with its subsidiary, the company reported a consolidated net loss for the second half of 2021 of $164,699, after reporting a profit of $6,249,880 for the same period in 2020. The appointment was referred to them by a director of the company who has known Mr Bumbak through the corporate community in Perth for a number of years. The first meeting of creditors was scheduled for 24 October.
