Former MasterChef Australia judge George Calombaris has publicly addressed the $7.8 million wage underpayment scandal that derailed his hospitality empire and television career, saying on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Australia that an internal audit found widespread pay errors at his group and that the board chose to self-report the issue to Fair Work Australia after it emerged in 2017.
