Good Group Australia - Voluntary Administration

Good Group Australia, which operated high-end steakhouse chain Botswana Butchery and Asian chains White & Wong and Wong Baby, entered voluntary administration on 31 March.

The group launched in New Zealand and expanded into Australia in 2022. It marketed itself as a luxury chain, offering a $500 steak on its menu.

Andrew Sallway and Duncan Clubb of BDO were appointed as administrators, and said that the three Botswana Butchery locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra are continuing to trade while they assess the situation. All three White & Wong and Wong Baby locations have ceased to trade.
