Healthscope landlord says La Spina’s not-for-profit plan unviable

Healthscope’s largest landlord, Northwest Healthcare Properties, has warned receivers that management’s proposal to restructure the distressed hospital operator into a not-for-profit is unviable, rejecting rent cuts and arguing the remaining network lacks the scale to survive following asset sales and is likely to face further closures.
