Healthscope to switch operations – but Hobart Private sale to go ahead regardless

The sale of Hobart Private Hospital to Calvary will proceed despite Healthscope’s transition to a not for profit structure following its 2025 receivership, with receivers McGrathNicol confirming the group will retain 31 hospitals under a new charitable model while divesting six sites as part of its restructuring.
