Jeanswest sells 53,000 jeans in just one week

Collapsed retailer Jeanswest has sold more than 53,000 pairs of jeans since administrators Pitcher Partners launched a nationwide discounting campaign last week with assistance from Gordon Brothers. Since April 1, Jeanswest has reportedly sold 160,000 items, while 184,000 customers have entered stores across Australia and over 540,000 people have visited the brand’s website—a great result as the business gets restructured into an online operation.
