Joshua Thomson SC returns to Francis Burt Chambers

Joshua Thomson SC has returned to Francis Burt Chambers after serving as the Solicitor-General of Western Australia for over five years between 2018 and 2023. Before being appointed as the Solicitor-General of Western Australia, he practised at the independent bar for approximately 18 years. His practice covered a wide range of areas, including contractual and insolvency disputes, building and construction matters, maritime law, regulatory competition law for pipelines, professional negligence insurance law, administrative and constitutional law and native title claims.
