Yeeda Group - Administration

The Yeeda Group of Companies, including the Yeeda Pastoral Company and subsidiary the Kimberley Meat Company, entered administration on 27 February. The Kimberley Meat Company operates the only abattoir in northern WA. The companies have been subject to a government investigation over millions in unpaid debts owed to the company’s creditors.The companies are also being investigated by the WA Department of Water and Environmental Regulation for illegal dumping. David Osborne, Richard Tucker and Tony Miskiewicz of KordaMentha were appointed as administrators.
