KordaMentha slams rival William Buck over Whyalla valuations

Mark Mentha and Sebastian Hams of KordaMentha, the administrators of the Whyalla steelworks, have accused William Buck, the firm overseeing the administration of Whyalla Ports Pty Ltd, an entity that controlled the port operations adjacent to the steelworks, of making “incorrect and destabilising” assumptions about creditor returns in its report on the Whyalla Ports administration, warning the statements could prejudice the ongoing sale of the Whyalla steelworks, as the bid deadline was extended to allow further due diligence.
