Law society shuts down Darling Downs law firm

Queensland Law Society has appointed receivers to Condon Charles Lawyers after resolving to exercise its regulatory powers, forcing the cessation of the long-established Toowoomba practice and the wind-up of its operations, with receivers tasked with transferring client files and safeguarding records while the reasons for the intervention have not been publicly disclosed.
