Richard Fisher AM and Emanuel Poulos of Ashurst report that orders limiting personal liability have recently been granted in two cases involving administrators who wished to continue operating the company's business but were unable to satisfy themselves of the accuracy of the company's payroll system, noting that the courts were more focused on whether the relief would aid in preserving the value of the business and less focused on the potential impact on individual creditors.
