Melbourne restaurant chain Calia sacks all staff via email just days after Christmas

About 100 employees at Melbourne restaurant-to-retail company Calia Australia, which has been in voluntary administration since June, have been sacked after the company announced it would be closing its two Melbourne restaurants “effective immediately” on December 28.
