More than 150 dairy workers to be made redundant after Beston Global Food Company fails to find buyer

South Australian dairy producer Beston Global Food Company is set to wind up after failing to find a buyer during its months-long voluntary administration, with administrators from KMPG saying they were not able to fund the business beyond 30 November due to significant trading losses being incurred on a weekly basis. A second meeting of creditors to determine whether the company should be placed in liquidation is expected to be convened in late January or early February 2025.
