Mosaic investigation deepens with new oversight

The Federal Court has ordered the appointment of special purpose liquidators to investigate potential insolvent trading, statutory and fiduciary duty breaches, and possible claims against advisers in the collapse of Mosaic Brands, as creditor pressure intensifies amid findings that the retailer may have been insolvent from at least December 2020 and left more than $300 million in debts and widespread supplier harm.
