NASAA Certified Organic Pty Ltd - Voluntary Administration

NASAA Certified Organic Pty Ltd, a South Australian-based organic certification body, entered voluntary administration on 8 July, with David Trim and Brent Kijurina of Hall Chadwick appointed as voluntary administrators.

NASAA—or the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia—certified that organic products met federal government standards for export. It provided certification services to around 400 clients, including Fonterra, Costa Farms and Bellamy's Organic, who will all be required to be recertified by 26 September since the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has notified them that their NASAA certifications are no longer valid.
