NetComm Wireless and two related companies - Administration

NetComm Wireless, a provider of telecommunications infrastructure equipment to telco companies, and two related companies entered administration on 11 March.
US company Casa Systems, which acquired NetComm in 2019, ran a divestment process for NetComm in the second half of 2023. There were reportedly several interested parties, but the bids were not acceptable to Casa Systems.
A difficult economic environment is thought to have contributed to the decision to appoint administrators, with Casa Systems itself reporting a net loss of US$25.6 million in Q3 2023.
Administrators Kate Conneely and Rahul Goyal of Cor Cordis are continuing to trade the business with a view to restructuring and selling the company.
