New Stax owners to honour $1.7m in unfulfilled orders to 13,000 customers

Stax is preparing to relaunch under new owners Justin Truong and Sandy Li-Truong, with newly appointed CEO Anna Cheng announcing plans to offer credits to nearly 13,000 customers owed $1.7 million in unfulfilled orders, despite the new owners having no legal obligation to honour those claims, as the business seeks to rebuild customer trust through an online-only relaunch in November.
