Omni Footwear Pty Ltd & Omni Retail Pty Ltd - Voluntary Administration

Omni Footwear Pty Ltd & Omni Retail Pty Ltd, the companies behind Australian comfort footwear retailer Planet Shoes Group, entered voluntary administration on 21 May.

James Stewart and Gayle Dickerson of KPMG were appointed administrators and said that the business would continue to trade while expressions of interest are sought from potential purchasers.

Stewart added that “the soft discretionary retail market” had impacted trading performance in the period leading to the appointment.
