Peter Stevens Motorcycles - Voluntary Administration

Peter Stevens Motorcycles, Australia’s largest motorcycle company, entered voluntary administration on 19 May, with Craig Shepard, Andrew Knight and Michael Korda of KordaMentha appointed as administrators.
The administration includes the Peter Stevens dealership network, including four major dealerships in Dandenong, Geelong, Ringwood and Adelaide, and Harley-Davidson operations across the country.
The company was established in 1970 by the Chiodo brothers and has grown into a nationwide network with about 400 staff.
The administrators intend to continue to operate the business while they seek immediate expressions of interest, and have said there is a “genuine turnaround opportunity” and a strong foundation for a new owner to be successful given the company’s history, brand recognition, dealer footprint and significant market share.
