PGP Group (Aust) Pty Ltd (trading as PlantGrowPick) - Voluntary Administration

PGP Group (Aust) Pty Ltd (trading as PlantGrowPick), a Waterfall, New South Wales-based provider of seasonal labour services for horticulture, cotton and general farming, entered voluntary administration on 30 October. Daniel Walley, Adam Colley and Mahala Hazell of PwC were appointed administrators, having been referred the matter by FTI, the company’s financial advisor. The company made headlines in 2015 after it was accused of mistreating and skimming the pay of its foreign employees, although it’s unclear whether these accusations are related to the company’s current financial difficulties. The first meeting of creditors is scheduled for 9 November.
