Queensland government hoses down suggestions it is considering bailout for Bonza

Budget airline Bonza’s fleet of 737-Max 8 aircraft have had their leases terminated, while its Miami-based parent 777 Partners has reportedly been sued by lenders accusing it of fraud and double-pledging of assets that it didn’t own. More from The Guardian.
Meanwhile, administrators from Hall Chadwick told creditors at a meeting on Friday that there are more than 20 parties - including investors, other airlines and other companies in the travel industry - interested in Bonza, and that they hope to have a clearer picture on the carrier’s future next week.
