Simsai Construction Group - Liquidation

Simsai Construction Group, a Perth-based construction company, entered liquidation on 5 December. The company previously entered administration in November after the ATO sought a winding up order over debts reportedly nearing $4.5 million. Directors cited materials shortages, rising costs, the pandemic and “unreasonable director-related transactions” as the reasons behind the company’s collapse. Thomas Birch and Jeremy Nipps of Cor Cordis were appointed joint liquidators.
