Special administration end - Narang Bir-rong Aboriginal Corporation (now in liquidation)

Narang Bir-rong Aboriginal Corporation has moved from special administration into liquidation, with Jack James and Paula Smith of Rodgers Reidy (WA) appointed by the Federal Court on 4 September. The Indigenous care provider ceased operations after losing its out-of-home care accreditation and associated NSW government funding. The regulator said most employee entitlements had been paid, but insufficient funds remained to pay other creditors in full.
