Spotlight retail billionaires weigh up Barbeques Galore purchase

Barbeques Galore, which entered administration in February, has attracted interest from multiple bidders including Spotlight Retail Group, as receivers Quentin Olde, Liam Healey and Luke Pittorino of Ankura shortlist suitors and progress a sale process, with due diligence underway and a going-concern outcome targeted to preserve most of the retailer’s roughly 500 jobs despite planned store closures and ongoing restructuring efforts.
