Star Entertainment Group warns about 'uncertainty' in its future as beleaguered casino group struggles to secure cash

Star Casino's lenders have appointed McGrathNicol in the wake of the company’s announcement to shareholders that it faces an uncertain future unless it can quickly secure cash, and that it had used a safe harbour legal provision to protect directors if it were to trade on the ASX while insolvent. US private equity giant Blackstone is being touted as a potential bidder for Star’s Sydney casino.
