Star shares plummet after trading halt, casino operator on brink of collapse with 'material uncertainty' about company's future

Star Entertainment’s shares have gone into a trading halt after the company failed to post its half-yearly results on time and acknowledged there are serious doubts about its ability to continue operating. Star Entertainment also said it expected to receive one or more liquidity proposals, and that its earnings report can only be finalised after its directors look at the proposals and determine whether the company "can continue as a going concern”.
