State-owned power company sued for $1 billion over troubled coal-fired station

Sev.en Global Investments has launched a Federal Court claim exceeding $1 billion against state-owned CS Energy over alleged mismanagement of Queensland’s Callide C power station, including incidents and prolonged outages that it says caused hundreds of millions of dollars in losses and pushed its joint venture vehicle, IG Power, into voluntary administration.
