Swim Quote Australia Pty Ltd trading as Vasa Pool Designs - Liquidation

Swim Quote Australia Pty Ltd trading as Vasa Pool Designs, a South Brisbane-based pool company, entered liquidation on 22 January following a November winding up application by the ATO.

The company is owned by Luke Byers, the brother of social media star and founder of My Cupcake Addiction, Elise Strachan.

The pool builder had also reportedly faced a series of fines and had been disqualified by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission for shoddy work and taking excessive deposits. Steven Staatz of Vincents was appointed liquidator.
