T & R International formerly trading as 'T&R Sports' and 'Sports Leisure' - Liquidation

T & R International formerly trading as 'T&R Sports' and 'Sports Leisure', a major online retailer of recreational and sporting goods, entered liquidation on 8 October.

In late September, the NSW Fair Trading Commissioner warned consumers to avoid doing business with the company and its owner, Shanshan Han, after a number of Queenslanders claimed they’d been ripped off by the online retailer, with some orders arriving damaged or not at all.

Shumit Banerjee of Westburn Advisory was appointed liquidator.

Lloyds Auctions is now overseeing the liquidation of the company’s inventory, which includes sporting goods, leisure equipment, and gym supplies.
