Tahmoor miners grapple with job losses at Sanjeev Gupta's GFG Alliance colliery

238 permanent roles have been terminated after the Tahmoor Colliery, part of GFG Alliance, was placed into liquidation by the Supreme Court of New South Wales, giving workers the option of accepting immediate redundancy or taking six weeks’ unpaid leave while a potential sale of the mine is considered.
