Tax Office, regulators slam Adgemis’ insolvency deal

The ATO claims to be owed $162 million by embattled pub baron Jon Adgemis, more than double what he told the trustee overseeing his affairs ahead of a crucial vote on whether he will be made bankrupt. AFSA has also raised major issues with Adgemis’ insolvency deal, taking the position that the investigations to date have been inadequate.
